Creative Writing Classes

 

Would you like to learn more about the structure and craft of writing, through practical exercises in fiction, non-fiction and poetry? If so, why not meet up with other writers at our Creative Writing classes led by experienced tutors.

Open to the public, classes are held on Wednesday mornings from 9.45 am till 11.45 am at the Rod Evans Centre, cnr Hay and Plain Streets, Perth.

FEE: $ 10.00 for members and $ 15.00 for non-members.

                       Writing in the City

Open to ALL writers, these classes are conducted on the first and third Saturday of the month at Citiplace Community Centre at the Perth Railway Station, above platform 9. Classes commence the first Saturday in February.
 
Classes on Saturday mornings between 10.00 and 12.00 cover all aspects of writing and are designed to provide inspiration and develop the writer's skill in a wide range of fields and topics.
 
Saturday afternoon classes are for all writers who wish to write a Novel, and will develop the novel chapter by chapter throughout the year. Classes are held between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm
 
Numbers are limited to both classes so it is important to register your interest with the Society on 0415 840 31 or with the Secretary on 9379 8419.
 
Fees are:  $10.00 per session to Society members, $15.00 for non-members.
 

Tutor for Saturday sessions is Helen Iles, Managing Editor, Linellen Press. Author of Ride a Crock Horse, Penny's Silver Dragon and Writing Poetry - Simplified.
